Terms and Conditions: Safe Bouncy Castle Hire

1. General Safety and Usage Guidelines for Inflatable Hire

To ensure safe and enjoyable use of our premium bouncy castles, all users must follow these mandatory rules:

• User Limits: Each inflatable has its own age limit and maximum number of users, which can be found in the product description (e.g., the Jungle Friends Mini Castle is recommended for up to 5 children). Please follow these guidelines carefully.

• Children’s Units: Our standard inflatables are for children only. Adults must not use these units unless they are specifically from our adult castles range.

• Adult Supervision: Adult supervision is required at all times. Lack of supervision may result in injury, for which the hirer would be held responsible.

• Prohibited Actions: Climbing, sitting, or hanging on the walls of the inflatable is strictly prohibited as it poses a serious risk of injury and damage.

• Balloons: Do not allow balloons on the inflatable. They can pose a choking hazard.

2. Damage, Stains, and Cleaning Fees

The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the unit is returned in the same condition it was delivered:

• Shoes and Objects: All users must remove shoes, badges, and jewellery before using the inflatable. Hard or sharp objects must also be kept off the unit to prevent injury and damage.

• Food and Drink: Food and drinks are not allowed on the inflatables. If the unit is returned dirty, an additional cleaning fee will apply.

• Staining Agents: The use of party poppers, henna, face paint, coloured streamers, or “silly string” on or near the inflatable is strictly forbidden. These items can permanently stain the equipment, and you will be held liable for any resulting damage.

• Water Use: Water or any liquids must not be poured or sprayed on the inflatable. If the unit is returned soaked, a fee of double the hire cost will be charged to cover cancellations and drying time. Please note that a soaked unit may also prevent future bookings.

3. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

• Payment: Full payment is required upfront at the time of booking to secure your inflatable.

• Standard Hire: Our standard hire covers the full day. We do not offer overnight hire; all inflatables must be collected the same day for safety and insurance reasons.

• Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancel 14+ days in advance: No charge. You can move your booking or request a refund.

  • Cancel within 14 days: 50% of the booking cost must be paid.

  • Cancel within 7 days: Full payment is non-refundable.

• Weather Cancellations: If Big Bounce Kingdom cancels due to unsafe weather conditions (e.g., strong winds or heavy rain), we will issue a full refund.

4. Delivery and Setup Conditions

• Setup Requirements: Please ensure the setup area is clear of pet mess, furniture, toys, and any obstacles before our team arrives.

• Unsuccessful Setup: If our team arrives and is unable to set up due to incorrect measurements (e.g., for the 9m x 6m Mega Mountain Slide) or any other circumstances beyond our control, the full hire fee will still be charged.

• Extra Charges: Extra charges may apply if the venue has steps or requires a long walking distance for set-up. These charges will be confirmed once you send us a video of the access area.

5. Damage and Incident Reporting

• Reporting Injury: In the event of any injury, Big Bounce Kingdom must be informed within 2 hours. A full report, including details of the incident and any treatment given, must be provided.

• Reporting Damage: If you notice any damage to the inflatable during your hire, please contact us immediately on 0203 976 2313 so we can take the necessary steps to maintain safety standards.

• Liability for Misuse: Any damage caused by misuse – such as exceeding the maximum user limit, using prohibited items, or failing to follow these safety guidelines – will result in additional charges.
